Women
are achieving more on the golf course today than ever before.
Annika Sorenstam has elevated her game to greatness and
won the admiration of men and women golf fans.
A new generation personified by long-hitting teenager
Michelle Wie is stepping to the back tees and taking on all
comers. Whether
your goal is to play golf with friends and business
associates, to aim for the club championship or simply to set
a personal best, we want to help you get there.
Lana says, “Golf enriched my life both personally and
professionally well before I became a golf professional.
My goal for Lana Ortega Golf is to help women get in
the game – and stay in the game so they can enjoy the same
benefits I have enjoyed through being involved in the game of
golf. I want my
students to learn to get the most from their swing, short
game, and on-course thinking – and how to get all the joy
and fellowship and fun from this great game.”
In order to play good golf, it’s important to have good
technique, but especially so for women who must rely on sound
mechanics to squeeze every ounce of clubhead speed and
precision out of their games.
Lana has spent years studying the golf swing and
understands the principles of physics that women need to
incorporate in their swing to maximize power and precision.

Big Fun In Arizona This Winter
In spite of our "cactus incident" we had a very
successful winter season in Arizona. In fact,
after we knew Amy would be okay, we laughed with
her about her tangle with the cactus until tears
ran down our faces! Twenty women from all over
the country came to WeKoPa Golf Club in Phoenix
over three different schools to work on their
games, play golf, and bond with friends.
"I've gone to the Lana Ortega Golf Just For
Women schools in Arizona for the past five years
and there is NO better way to prepare your game
for the season. I always come back with my game
ready to go. I would highly recommend this golf
instruction vacation. I can't wait until next
year!.......Fran Goldstein, New York, NY
